- Create & maintain a local historic register
- Review applications to the historic register & proposed changes to register properties
- Identify & actively encourage the conservation of the City's historic resources
- Raise community awareness of the City's history, historic planning & preservation
- Establish the City of Millwood as a Certified Local Government (CLG) with the Washington State Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation
